OAKED GOODBYE: A Letter From Our Owners

It has been a great adventure for Anne and me, but after this weekend we have made the decision to close Oaked.  We cannot say thank you enough to all of our friends and patrons that supported us.  Seeing you, meeting you, spending time talking to you and making so many new friends was by far the highlight of the experience for us both.

A special thanks to Olivia, Stephan, Gayle, Denise, Carl, Irina, Grayson, Jordan, Brittany, Mark, Taylor, Nick, Dane, Chris, Jah, Melanie, Eileen and Matt. To all of our wonderful employees who became our family.

I am very proud of our team and proud of what we were able to achieve together.  We had many great articles and honors in our short tenure.  Those came as a result of our total commitment to excellence in everything we did.

We invite you to join us this Friday (10/18) and Saturday (10/19) to celebrate everything we have accomplished and say goodbye to Oaked.

Thanks again to everyone,

John and Anne

A lifelong passion for wine, whiskey, and true hospitality was the catapult to the creation of OAKED restaurant and remains the daily driving force behind every service. Executive Chef Stephan Ledbetter maintains a hyper-seasonal, ingredient-driven New American menu that highlights inspired, eclectic touches. An extensive wine list (featuring 200 wines available by the glass) and global whiskey selection is complimented by a contemporary cocktail and bar list.

OAKED is delighted to present our guests with multiple unique dining spaces to choose from --- our spacious upstairs dining room, the more intimate main level lounge, a beautiful shaded patio, and a secluded cigar deck. The restaurant also pays homage to the French-American flair of historic Soulard, and Saint Louis as a whole, as well as the ever-growing local dining scene.
